I know lots of gay, lesbian, and bisexual individuals who've tried tantra in San Diego and complain that the instructions and the teachers were biased towards the heterosexual condition.  We agree that the western interpretation of tantra tends to poloraize male vs. female or god vs. goddess, making it difficult for gay, lesbian, bisexual and trans individuals to practice in a traditional heterosexual setting.  With over 15 years experience in the GLBT community, and 7 years on the tantric path, I feel qualified to teach tantra to the GLTB community. I believe sexuality is  fluid, changing for different people at different times.

With all the wounds and prejudices of mainstream American culture, I feel the GLBT community could especially benefit from the healing and loving rewards of tantra.  That is why I'm committed to designing groups and environments where it is safe for gays, lesbians, bisexuals and transgendered people to experience and practice tantra.
